Drop Front Secretary Desk and Chair

Description

Beautiful vintage blue/silver secretary desk dates back to 1931.  It is a Governor Winthrop Desk made by the Northwestern Cabinet Co in Burlington, Iowa.  The desk and chair have been professionally hand-painted in shades of blue and silver and stained in antique mahogany. This piece is well-made and in excellent condition featuring original hardware, locking drop front, 4 dovetailed drawers with blum soft closing drawer slides, and custom mail slots.  See photograph of the 1931 catalog with the original description of this amazing vintage desk.
